Zion National Park CE Conference: October 10-13, 2024
Springhill Suites Zion National Park
It doesn’t get any better than Fall colors in Zion National Park. Our CE will make you smarter, and hiking, running and biking - or just Being amongst the beauty of Zion will rejuvenate the body and spirit.
We are thrilled to be returning to Zion in 2024 for 14 hours of Continuing Education amongst the striking landscapes of one of America's most beautiful National Parks. Zion in Autumn is a wonder to behold.
The Education
14 hours of approved CE will be available in Small Animal Dermatology and Ophthalmology. Our esteemed speakers are Dr. Paul Bloom Diplomate ACVD, DABVP and Dr. Gia Klauss Diplomate ACVO. Each are not only outstanding teachers, but also active clinicians in practice. You can learn more about our speakers here.
The Location
Our conference hotel the Marriott is less than a mile from the main park entrance. There is even a free National Parks shuttle that will pick you up a short walk from our hotel after lectures, and shuttle you to and from all of the major trailheads in the park as well as the visitors center. It couldn't be easier to unwind and learn. We had a good number of discounted rooms held at the Marriott, but those discounted rooms are now full. The good news is, there are plenty of other nice places to stay in Springdale, and nothing in town is far away. Springdale is a small one-road town and almost all hotels in town are less than a mile from our conference. Airbnb is also a good option.
Your Vacation
Our lecture schedule is designed to give you plenty of time each day to unwind and enjoy your vacation in Zion National Park. We believe that the relaxed mind is a more focused mind, and that the more focused mind is more apt to learn and retain. The conference will begin at 3pm on Thursday October 10th and the final hour of CE will be done by noon on Sunday the 13th. You will have plenty of free time to enjoy the area. For those who would like to join, we will also be getting together for two social events. Early fall is our favorite time of year here. Temperatures are perfect and the colors are at their best. The flow of the Virgin River is light at this time of year making for fantastic hiking through the famous Narrows. Zion in Autumn may just be the best time you will ever have at work.
Etc.
The most convenient airport is Las Vegas (LAS). It is a beautiful 2.5 hour drive and flights to LAS and rental cars from there tend to be priced favorably. There is also an airport in St. George, Utah (SGU) that is 50 minutes away. The Salt Lake City airport (SLC) is about a 4 hour drive. If you wanted to not have a car, there are private shuttles that can get you from the Las Vegas airport to Springdale - and once in Springdale there are free shuttles into the park.
